Concert Band

Because of the increasing size of our University, Division of Music, and our Bands, we have added a Concert Band that meets during the Spring Semester only. This 3rd concert group, in addition to Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, provides a non-auditioned performing ensemble opportunity for non-music majors who just want to keep their "chops" up in the off-season and who enjoy concert band playing.

The Concert Band meets one night a week (Tuesday) and will have one performance near the end of the spring semester in conjunction with the Symphonic Band. The Concert Band is open to all WVU students and no formal audition is required for acceptance into the group. If you think you might be interested in the Spring semester Concert Band, more details will be available as the fall semester progresses.
